Quality

This page was written by someone with very poor grammar skills. it needs a lot of work. hornplayer2 (talk) 07:50, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't look at me. I created it, but it is pretty much copied verbatim from the young marines official website, so the grammar's on them --Estrill5766 (talk) 21:41, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's problem then, as copy-vio.--Vidkun (talk) 14:33, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

people are closed minded

My son is a Young Marine and a Boy Scout. They are basically the same execept the Marines are far more organized, and provide more useful life skills. Like the Boy scouts, it's mostly run by parents (which aren't always military). On average each marine in his unit voluteers 50-100 hours of community service. It's a shame some people can't see past the uniforms and see the child trying to be a good person. Mudhunny (talk) 17:07, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Proud Parent[reply]

Sorry, but what does that have to do with anything? --Estrill5766 (talk) 03:06, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was replying to the comment- "This smells of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler-Jugend. I cannot imagine it does not need a criticism section" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.96.103.252 (talk) 15:22, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

wow, recruiting children to be mass murderers from the age of 8. disgusting -- —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.231.121.164 (talk) 03:38, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I fail to see how an organization that promotes discipline, good citizenship, and respect for what the military does can be called mass murder. Unless that is what you are calling the military in general. If that's the case, we have nothing to talk about. I am a US Marine, and remember, our sacrifices ensure you have the right to say what you want. Try giving the military some respect, you piece of shit. --Estrill5766 (talk) 22:55, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
