Criticism sections

A few of my thoughts and observations on criticism sections.

  • I have never lifted up an encyclopedia in my life and seen a section solely devoted to criticism on a subject, nor do I want to. Bah.
  • Some criticism sections are two paragraphs in length and lack citations — pointless?
  • Some criticism sections are longer than the rest of the content on the article — a little too whiney?
  • Some articles contain subsections in their criticism sections that are already subsections in the article, like so:
== Hardware requirements ==
..
== Features ==
..
=== Security ===
...
== Criticism ==
..
=== Hardware requirements ===
...
=== Security ===
...

— redundancy?

  • Where are my "praise" sections? People still "praise," don't they?
