Hot Rod (Transformers)

"Hot Rod" is also a name used in certain markets for Jolt (Transformers).

Rodimus, originally named Hot Rod, is the name of several fictional characters in the various Transformers universes. Originally named Hot Rod and then Rodimus Prime, later Rodimus, is the name of several fictional characters in the various Transformers universes.

In some European countries the Laser Rod known as Jolt was released under the name Hot Rod, although he seems to have no relation to the Generation 1 Hot Rod.

Transformers movie

According to an online post by Roberto Orci Hot Rod was considered for the 2007 Transformers movie. [1]

Tranformers: Armada/Energeon/Cybertron

Hot Rod is the Japanese name for the Autobot, Hot Shot in the Japanese version of Transformers: Armada. Both characters share similarities in alternate modes, personality and eventual new leader of the Autobots until Optimus returned.
