Fractured Atlas[1] is a national not-for-profit arts services organization based in New York City. It was founded in 1998 by current Executive Director Adam Huttler.

The organization offers a variety of services to independent artists and arts organizations, including fiscal sponsorship, liability insurance, health insurance, microgrants, and online courses[2] on arts-related topics.

I first found this resource for artists of all kinds, when attending the first online art telesummit in 2005. Attendees were offered a discounted membership for one year! I found out about the national health care program just for artists, that is still being rolled out nationally. I also became a fiscally sponsored artist with a 501c3 status, to pursue a project of my choice; lots of freedom with lots of sponsorship. Fractured Atlas is a real deal for artists! There you go Adam! I hope this helps to launch Fractured Atlas on the Wikipedia site!! Now refine my input!
