Mara Liasson (born June 13, 1955 in New York City) is an American political correspondent, a national political correspondent for Special Report with Bret Baier and Fox News Sunday on Fox News Channel, and regularly editorializes on National Public Radio.

Education

She is a graduate of Brown University (class of 1977) with a B.A. degree in American history. She graduated from Scarsdale High School in New York in 1973.

Career

Liasson joined NPR in 1985 , and is currently their national political correspondent, and has also been NPR's White House correspondent from 1992-2001, and their congressional correspondent from 1989-1992.[1]

Personal

She is married to Jonathan Cuneo, a partner in the Cuneo, Gilbert, & LaDuca law firm in Washington, DC.
