Shane Robinson (born 17 December 1980 in Waterford) is an Irish football midfielder who currently plays for Shamrock Rovers in the FAI Premier League. He is a right-sided midfield player with pace, tenacity and vision.

He is also on the PFAI management committee [1].

This is Robinsons second stint at Rovers[1], having also previously played for Drogheda United and junior club Waterford Bohemians. Shane signed for Rovers in 1999 and made a scoring debut. His first month in the league he was awarded Player of the Month.

He went on to play for five seasons making 5 appearances in European competition. He was Player of the Year for the 2001/2002 season [2].

Scored Drogheda's first ever goal in European competition [3]

Scored for Drogheda in the Champions League qualifier at Dynamo Kiev on the 7th of August 2008 [4].

Captained the first Rovers side to play in Tallaght Stadium [5] and also missed the first penalty there [6].
