Faye Lamb is the first wife of Mark Wylde. She has appeared since 2009.

Faye is first spotted by Mark Wylde and he is worried she may have been behind his son's Will's disappearance. However, it turns out Will hid outside over night. The following week she applies for a marketing job at Home Farm, and impress Natasha Wylde who decides to give her the job. The following night Mark goes to her home, only to find her house empty and a neighbour says she has left. Faye rings Natasha to tell her she cannot take the job, which Natasha was about to offer her. Mark is worried once again when she walks into Home Farm and steals a picture of the Wylde family, smashing a vase in the process. When Mark checks the house CCTV footage and sees her entering, he panics and calls her warning her to stay away. Mark and Faye meet in the woods and Mark feels guilty enough to put her up in an expensive flat.

In late May, Faye returns to Home Farm to ask about the job and learns Mark and Natasha are renewing their vows. When Mark confronts Faye, it is revealed that Faye is married to Mark, making his marriage to Natasha bigamous, and is real name is Daniel Lamb. Twenty-seven years before he went missing, three years after they got together, as he was in serious debt, and seven years later she had him declared dead. After moving to France, he later set up a fake identity - Mark Wylde. Faye asks Mark if he ever loved her, and he says he had in his own way, but not compared to his love for Natasha. A few days later, Faye attends his vow renewal ceremony. She tells Mark she nearly told everyone in church the truth about him, but realised she would only be hurting his children and Natasha. Faye continues to text Mark, and they meet again in mid-June. She introduces him to their son, Ryan, who has recently moved in with her and has no idea Mark is his father.

In late June, Natasha begins to get suspicious about a flat Mark has purchased, and when she decides to investigate, she finds Faye. Faye tells her about Mark's past. Natasha doesn't want to believe her, but finally does. The next day Natasha returns to talk to her, and realises Faye still wants Mark. Even though Natasha is disgusted with Mark, she still wants to keep her family together, and warns Faye to stay out of their lives, unless she wants Ryan to learn Faye had been lying to him about his father for months. When Faye continues her attempts to contact Mark, Natasha tells her if Faye does not take a payoff and leave the flat, Natasha will make it look like Mark and Faye faked his death to get insurance money, and she will tell Ryan the truth. Faye asks for more money and when she gets it, she and Ryan vacate the flat. However, in July she gets a cottage in the heart of Emmerdale and moves in with Ryan.
