BACKGROUND:
TopNotchThemes is a virtual company of designers, programmers, and support staff who offer and assist with creating professional themes and designs exclusively for Drupal-hosted websites. TopNotchThemes was founded in 2006 by Christopher Fassnacht and Stephanie Pakrul. [1] Drupal is a content management system (CMS) and web publishing platform. [2]
TopNotchThemes was the first exclusively Drupal premium theme store [3] and offers three free Drupal themes through their partnership with Acquia, called Acquia Marina, Acquia Slate, and the newly released Acquia Prosper. [4] Their themes pioneered the use of custom settings in Drupal themes, which have since been replicated in other themes [10]. Acquia Marina and Acquia Slate are currently the first and third most popular contributed themes on drupal.org. [5]

TopNotchThemes maintains a Drupal-only theme shop that offers Drupal 5 & 6 themes. Each theme has 12-19 collapsible regions, advanced theme settings, and theming for modules like Views and Ubercart. They also offer step-by-step documentation, support and a return policy. [8]
