Hello, I'm Chicadi. I'm the kind of person who doesn't give out much personal info online, but I'm willing to tell you that I'm a 17-year-old high school student and I live in the Northeastern United States.
Obsessions
The little things that make my life all the more interesting.
Photography
I love taking photos of just about everything. Mostly I just like keeping photos of my friends and family, interesting places I've been to etc. Lately this has developed into some experimentation with artistic photography and I've even been doing some photojournalism with a local newspaper.
JAPAN
How long have I harboured this obsession with the Japanese language and culture? I have no idea. I've been taking Japanese for 2 years now (日本語を話したら、一生に練習しましょうね＾＾）, and was lucky enough to travel to Japan this past summer. For my graduation project I've been researching the classic Japanese novel Tale of Genji, which making me just fall more and more in love with the culture.
