Benito "Ben" F. Carruthers (14 August 1936 - 27 September 1983) was an American film actor, most notable for his role in John Cassavetes' Shadows (1959) and Robert Aldrich's The Dirty Dozen (1967) as Glenn Gilpin. His last performance was in Man in the Wilderness (1971). Ben died in 1983, aged 47. He stood 6' 1".
