"Make Me Stay a Bit Longer" was the third single by English rock band Status Quo, released 1969.

Originally, the idea was for the bnd to release a fourth single from their debut album Picturesque Matchstickable Messages from the Status Quo. The single was to have been "Technicolour Dreams", originally by Anthony King, which had been featured as the seventh song on the album. Instead of this, a whole new song was released - "Make Me Stay a Bit Longer", by Rossi and Parfitt.

Its b-side was "Auntie Nellie", another new song, written by group bassist Alan Lancaster.

In 2003, both of these songs were included on a re-release of the Picturesque Matchstickable Messages from the Status Quo album.
