The map of British India 1947 is wrong. It shows Nepal as a part of British India. Nepal has been a sovereign state for more than 2066 years ruled by Kings. The Kiratis ruled during the 7th century, followed by the Licchavis in 300 AD, the Thakuris in 600s, the Mallas in 1200s, and by the Shahs in 1768 till 2008. All this while, Nepal was never under any foreign dominance. It has never been a part of India or colonial India. The yellow tint on Nepal on the map is wrongly coded. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Atullbj (talk • contribs) 04:07, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
