Lakeside Mall is a shopping mall located on the northeastern border of Sterling Heights, Michigan, a suburb in the Metro Detroit area. It is located south of Hall Road (M-59) between Hayes and Schoenherr. Since it was opened in the 1970s, it has been the most popular shopping destination in Macomb County.

History

Lakeside Mall started as a joint-venture between A. Alfred Taubman, and the Dutch investment company Rodamco. It was built in the mid 1970s, just as northward suburban development was booming.
