Stella D'Oro is a brand of cookies and bread sticks now owned by Kraft Foods. Stella D'Oro was established in 1930 by Jospeh Kresivich, who had immigrated to the United States from Trieste, Italy in 1922. Stella D'Oro means "star of gold" in Italian, and the cookies are inspired by Italian baking.
