Bhanu Bhakta Memorial Higher Secondary School is one of the pioneer school in Kathmandu Valley and is situated in Panipokhari, Kathmandu. It was established in 1966 A.D. Since then it has set quality standards in the field of education and child development. Bhanu Bhakta School is named after the laureate poet Bhanu Bhakta Acharya, who was born in a village of Tanahun District. Since 2006 the school has opened a higher secondary block and from 2009 it has started the Bachelors degree.

This school is owned by public trust. The trust name is Bhanu Bhakta School Trust. It has a chairman and board members responsible of running the school. Currently, there are more than 2000 students coming from all parts of the country. The school follows traditional method of teaching and has nearly 100 teaching staffs including the college. It has got its own building and the playgrounds. The school has resulted very good results in many years and continue to do so. It has a separate girls hostel and boys hostel.
