Unsafe At Any Speed

Untitled

Unsafe At Any Speed is an album by Long Island, NY rock band Vaeda. It was recorded by the band during the time they were part of the Playtyme record label, but the band petitioned release from them before the album could be released. Despite this, the album has a full tracklisting and cover (designed by the band members). Vaeda are currently on indefinate hiatus, and future details on the album are unknown. However, Aristotle Dreher, the bands bassist has since issued a statement regarding the album on the bands myspace page[1]:

"As you may know, we have an amazing, fully recorded, 12 song album called "Unsafe at Any Speed" that has yet to be released. I am extremely proud of it and it is undoubtedly our greatest work to date. It is my hope and continuing ambition to make that album available for you all to enjoy."

Unsafe At Any Speed contains 11 songs, some of which can be heard on the band's website[2]. Songs have recieved some airplay on 94.3 WMJC, and some have even been used commercially in television shows such as The Hills and The Girls of Hedsor Hall; a rarity for an unsigned band.
