The Super Sherpa (KL250G USA)(KL250H Japan,Canada,Australia,Greece,UK) is a 249cc dual-sport motorcycle produced by Kawasaki.

It was first offered in Japan in 1997 to present, and was sold in the United States from 1999-2003. Production and sales continued in Japan and other markets and Kawasaki recently decided to begin selling the Super Sherpa again in the United States starting in 2009[1]. The new model remains unchanged from the previous model.

The Super Sherpa uses an air-cooled, single-cylinder engine mated with a six-speed transmission. It uses an electric starter and kick starter is not offered. Power output is estimated at around 14.5 horsepower. The Super Sherpa is capable of 82-83 miles per hour and easily averages 65-70 miles per gallon in normal street use.

This bike is noted for having a digital speedometer and two digital odometers (and clock). The Super Sherpa does not have a tachometer, though some riders have added aftermarket tachometers to their Super Sherpas.

Three color variations of the Super Sherpa have been offered in the United States: green with silver, silver/yellow with green, and black/yellow with green (2009). In Japan, the Super Sherpa has been sold in black and has also been offered in white with black, red, blue, and green in some markets.

Also, the USA Super Sherpas were issued with a Low Front Fender whereas the Japan,Canada,Australia,Greek,UK models were issued with the High Front fender.
