It's DamOTclese, also known as Not So Old Hippie (sic)

I spend as much of my free time hiking and bicycling, most often in the Angeles National Forest, doing about 48 miles every weekend or so, usually with an ancient backpack, always with a bicycle that's falling apart, has no breaks, and is stuck in one gear.

When I'm not working or hiking and biking in the forest, I spend time camping in the Mojave Desert, body surfing at Huntington Beach (Bolsa Chica) or getting exercise some other way.

For the past six or seven years or so I've had various one-sided fights with poison oak to various degrees, and despite the constant exposure, no immunity seems to be developing.

I work in high technology, I'm involved in civil rights and human rights advocacy, I work to oppose a variety of organized criminal enterprises, and I created and operate The Skeptic Tank which focuses upon the scientific debunking of claims of the paranormal and of scams, frauds, and systematic, organized criminal individuals and organizations.
