Dragon Group is the pioneer of Bangladesh's sweater Industry. The group is directly responsible for the establishment of the sweater industry in Bangladesh which is now contributing about $ 1.5 Billion US dollar per year from export. Dragon Group first established its sweater factory by the name of Cheung Hing Sweater in 1980's with 50 Chinese technicians and with about 300 machines and about 600 employees. Today the Group employs over 12000 employees with 10000 machines and exports about 10 Million pieces of Sweaters per year. The group is among the world's largest sweater supplier and is the largest Sweater Industry in South And South East Asia.
The Group's Chairman is Mr. Mostafa Golam Quddus who is also a Former President of BGMEA and is widely known as the Father of Bangladesh's Sweater Industry. The day to day operations is managed by its Managing Director Mr. Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan.
