Born on November 17, 1954 in a remote village of Rawalpindi, Pakistan, Hussain Saqib did his graduation from Government College, Lahore, Pakistan. He joined Punjab Civil Service in 1977 and Civil Service of Pakistan in 1982. He did his certificate in Training Design and Management from Institute of Public Service International of University of Connecticut, USA in 1989. He served as a trainer almost throughout his career as a regular staff and a visiting instructor of various training institutions. He also served as Financial Expert of the Government of Mozambique. He is a very widely traveled person. Currently, he is working as Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Finance (Military Wing) of the Government of Pakistan.
