Corey Hughes (born 17 February 1978 in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian rugby league player for the Cronulla Sharks club in the National Rugby League competition. He previously played eleven seasons for the Bulldogs. He primarily plays at hooker.

Hughes signed a one year deal with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks for 2009.[1][2]

Corey Hughes is the youngest brother of former Bulldogs players, Glen Hughes and Steven Hughes. He is the son of former Canterbury Bulldog's five-eighth, Garry Hughes.

Controversy

In 2005, Corey Hughes was involved in a brawl at the Kembla Grange Racecourse.[3] He was fined by the Bulldogs but has refused to pay it.
