A cultural broker is someone who bridges the gap between two cultures. This person is usually a translator, and is able to understand the customs between the two cultures. For example, in the book "The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down", Ming Yang Xiong acts as a cultural broker between the Hmong and American cultures.
