What is the black edition?

This article does not explain the black edition; could someone add content on this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.217.200.214 (talk) 14:38, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My guess, based on forums, is that it's some version of processor with unlocked multiplier, which allows for more flexible overclocking. 217.172.21.161 (talk) 16:16, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

a request

can anyone give a more detailed description about the Phenom architecture and it's changes? and the improvement made over previous generations. Markthemac (talk) 04:22, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Small inaccuracy

The statement that the tripled L3 cache leads to up to 30% gains in performance is somewhat inaccurate. The Phenom II also has a better architecture.

We go by what the source says, and it attributes the gains to the L3 cache. Also, the statement that the "Phenom II has better architecture" is peacock. You are welcome to improve on the sentence if you can do so with verifiable details. Ham Pastrami (talk) 02:41, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
