127 hours is an upcoming film directed by Danny Boyle. Filming is expected to take place early next year, with Fox Searchlight supposedly releasing it in time for awards season in late 2010. [1] The film is expected to have over an hour of no dialogue, as it is based on the story of Aron Ralston, the mountain climber who amputated his own arm to free himself after being trapped by a boulder for nearly five days. Boyle claims that there is currently no script.[2]

Cast

I[3] Production Weekly is reporting that James Franco has been cast as the lead. The industry paper also reports that production will begin in early March in Utah.[4] James Franco has been added to the cast list on IMDB. [5]
