Jimmy O. Barikad (1982 – 12 January 2010?[citation needed]) was a Haitian hip hop artist, who was born in Port-au-Prince and lived in New York City.
Music career
Jimmy O. was part of the Barikad Crew with the lead Wyclef Jean,[1] three other members Sean Walker Sénatus aka K-Tafalk, Junior Badio aka Déjavoo and Jhonny Emmanuel aka Dade died in June 2008 in a car crash.[2]
Yéle Haiti
Barikad was, alongside Wyclef Jean, a member of the Yéle Haiti Foundation.[3]
Haiti earthquake
Wyclef Jean reported on 12 January 2010 on CNN that he had received word that Barikad may have been killed in the magnitude 7.0 Port-au-Prince quake.[4]
