Moray Mair runs a festival events company in Ireland called Goldiefish events. Over the last 20 years he has been involved in a number of arts initiatives and projects. In 1993 he helped set up Bui Bolg Street Theatre Company which has gone on to produce a number of high profile carnival events around the World. In 2003 he left the company to work at the Arches Theatre, Glasgow as a production designer. Later that year he began a co-production with Fabrik, Potsdam, a dance - theatre company from Germany. This project led to TORN, a show that premiered in Cork, Ireland in 2003 and went on to be peformed in Scotland. In 2004 he co-produced Islands of Song, a joint St. Johns, Newfoundland and Cork, Ireland music project. In 2005 he was appointed Artistic Director of the Cork St.Patricks Festival as part of Corks European Capital of Culture. In 2006 he left to set up his own events company
