Hindley South was a railway station located in Hindley, Greater Manchester, England on the Wigan Central line, now the Wigan North Western to Glazebrook line. There were also stations serving Hindley at Platt Bridge and Hindley Green on the line from Wigan North Western to Manchester Exchange.
The station opened as Stangeways and Hindley in 1884 and was renamed to Hindley and Platt Bridge. The station was renamed to Hindley South in 1950. The station was closed on November 2nd 1964.
