Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath
The Princess Royal Hospital is a general hospital located in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, England. The first hospital in the area opened in 1859 and was called the Sussex County Lunatic Asylum. This later changed its name to 'St. Francis Hospital'.[1]
In the 1980s, part of St. Francis Hospital was renamed the Princess Royal when the Cuckfield and Haywards Heath hospital moved into new purpose built buildings in the grounds of St. Francis.
