Logistics Civil Augmentation Program - LOGCAP IV

The US Army acronym LOGCAP stands for Logistics Civil Augmentation Program. LOGCAP was established in 1985, primarily to pre-plan for contingencies and to leverage existing civilian resources. The version of LOGCAP, known as LOGCAP III, was awarded in 2001 to the firm Kellogg, Brown and Root Services (KBRS) and has been used primarily in support of operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Djibouti, Jordan, Kenya, Uzbekistan and Georgia. LOGCAP III is phasing out and being replaced with LOGCAP IV.

LOGCAP IV has been split up and three primary contractors have been approved to submit bid proposals for the individual task orders. The three companies are Fluor, Dyncorp and KBR. There is also a fourth LOGCAP IV contractor, SERCO who has been awarded a contract for analysis, planning and logistics support. This contract is primarily administrative.

The LOGCAP IV contract numbers are as follows: Updated lists of awarded task orders and descriptions of each can be found at each link.
