I would love to be able to actively contribute by editing pages that will benefit the Wikipedia community in a substantive way, and I look forward to having this opportunity.

What I mean is that if and when I upload images beside the Demi Lovato one, I am not sure if they will also be free. If you dont want me to upload non-free images, I will not upload them.
If you're not sure about the copyright status of a file, please do not upload it. Also, please do not upload copyrighted photos of still living people, this is a violation of WP:NFCC#1 and those images will be deleted. But if this really is a free image you wish to upload, I'd recommend doing so at the Wikimedia Commons; images on Commons can be used on Wikipedia as if they were uploaded directly to Wikipedia. -FASTILY (TALK) 07:36, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm new here, and quite confused. I asked an author (A.J. Healy) to e-mail me a picture of him so I could post it on his page (which I created). I tried upload it on his page, but it was deleted in seven days afterwards. I do have permission to use the picture, but what do I have to do?
