Ike Eissinmann aka Ike Eisenmann (born July 21, 1962) is an American actor, voice actor, producer, and sound-effects specialist who has been active in the entertainment industry since he was a preteen.

Career

Eisenmann was born Ike Keith Eisenmann in Houston, Texas, the son of Ruth Ann (née Gumney) and Albert Able Eisenmann, who was also an actor.[1] He first came to prominence opposite Kim Richards as Tony Malone in Walt Disney Productions film Escape to Witch Mountain and its sequel Return From Witch Mountain. He also appeared as engineering cadet Peter Preston in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and played a cameo role in the 2009 release of Race to Witch Mountain with his original co-star Kim Richards.

Television appearances consisted of roles in The Fantastic Journey, T.J. Hooker, Wonder Woman and several appearances on the ABC Afterschool Specials. Eissinmann also starred in the made-for-television 1982 movie Dreams Don't Die as New York subway graffiti artist Danny Baker trying to publish his art professionally. Though not a critical success, the film enjoyed cult status during late night rebroadcasts.

He also appeared in the 1987 mini-series Centennial as the young Jake Lloyd.

Current work

In recent years, Eisenmann's career has been in post-production. He appeared in the spoof The Blair Witch Mountain Project.

In 2009, Eisenmann appeared in Race to Witch Mountain.[2] Kim Richards and Eisenmann appeared in the movie as a waitress and a sheriff, respectively.[2]

Personal

Eisenmann married his wife Alexandra in 1993. He is the older brother of actor Al Eisenmann.
