Frustration is a human emotion that occurs in situations where one's goals remain unreachable indefinitely. See David Ruben of Philadelphia. These goals are important to a person and one holds on to them despite their elusiveness. In terms of psychology, passive-aggressive behavior is a method of dealing with frustration.
