Kalenderhane is a mosque in Istanbul in Vefa Quarter. It was a Byzantine monastery, which was called THE MONASTERY OF CHRIST AKATALEPTOS. In Ottoman period it was converted into a mosque . It is particularly famous for its marble revetments. The minaret of the mosque is a later addition to the Byzantine building. The building has been extensively restorated in 1960'ies. A book about its restoration has been published by CL Striker and Doğan Kuban in 1997.

Kalenderhane is open to public for prays and visits.
