John Moran (Medal of Honor)

John Moran (unknown - 1905) was an American cavalry soldier and Medal of Honor recipient. He was awarded the medal for "Gallantry in Action" for his actions on August 25, 1869 in a battle at Seneca Mountain, Arizona. The citation was awarded March 3, 1870.
Moran died in the winter of 1905 and is buried in an unmarked grave in the abandoned cemetery at Lidy Hot Springs, Idaho.
