The Australian National University Football Club is based at the Australian National University. The club was formed in 1962 as ANU Mens Soccer Club, changing the title to ANU FC in 2002 to reflect a rebranding of the sport nationally.

The main objective of the club is to provide a footballing opportunity to ANU staff, students and graduates at all levels in the ACT region, although membership is not restricted to those groups. The club has the biggest membership in Canberra with over 201 members participating in every division (but Div 3) from PL to SL 10 and two Masters Divisions.

The club currently competes in ACT amateur competitions including the ACT Premier League. The home ground is ANU North Oval in the suburb of Turner. The clubs new home will be the new facility being built at Willows Oval across the road, this will consist of two synthetic pitches and a club house adjoined to the gym.

The club’s colours are royal blue and white. The emblem is the a crest with royal blue and white vertical stripes and the motto vilis est sermo.

A notable former player would be Luke Pilkington who captained the 2009 Premier League side - Luke was given a contract to play with Melbourne Victory and made his debut with the first team against Queensland Fury in March 2010.

The Club is the major powerhouse in Canberra Football and continues to go from strength to strength.
