Jay Rock

Johnnie McKenzie[1] (born March 1, 1986), better known by his stage name Jay Rock, is an American rapper. He is best known for hit single, "All My Life (In the Ghetto)", which featured artists Lil Wayne and will.i.am and was one of iTunes's Free Downloads in early 2009. His debut album Follow Me Home is expected to be released sometime in 2010.[2] Jay Rock was born and raised in Watts, California in the city's Nickerson Gardens Projects.[3] He released mixtapes in his neighborhood and later was signed to Warner Bros. records and Top Dawg Entertainment. [4]
