Rock Sugar is a LA based band that re-imagines 80's pop songs as hair metal. As one example "Shook me like a prayer"[1] sets Madonna's "Like a prayer" to the music of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long".

It features[2] Jess Harnell on lead vocals, Chuck Duran on guitar & vocals, Alex Track on drums & vocals, and Johnny Five on bass & vocals.

Rock sugar is one of the funnier pieces of Remix culture.

Currently

They are currently a rising act in Los Angeles, a frequent livejournal sensation, and experiencing wide exposure through youtube.
