Candy Palmater is a recovered lawyer, turned comedian[1], international speaker and the educator of aboriginal perceptions training about the Mi'kmaq people. She is active in Native rights and gay rights, and is now the creator and writer of her own National TV show for APTN HD and APTN - The Candy Show. You can listen to Candy Palmater on DNTO CBC Radio One, she has been in the Halifax Comedy Festival, Hubcap Comedy Festival in Moncton , Sold out show 2009 - "Working Hard for the Money" - Halifax Holiday Inn, and she is the Mistress of Ceremony for the Maritime Tattoo Festival, 2008, 2009 and will be for 2010.
Born and raised in Point La Nim New Brunswick, now resides in Halifax Nova Scotia.
