Maremanda is a village 4 km from Visannapeta, Krishna Dist. The name MAREMANDA means place of Maremmathalli, a very famous Goddess. The population in this village is nearly 2500+. Many people in this village are farmers, with the main crops being mangoes, rice, corn, and sugar cane.

In this village a very famous RAMALAYAM is there... people celebrate all the festivals very well, especially sankranthi is very famous here because all relatives and family members will gather together and enjoy. KODIPANDHALU is also very famous for this festival.

One Neem Tree in this village nearly 150 yrs old and people believe this as GOD and wear poojas for every festivals, marriages etc....
