Bugs5382 (talk · contribs) – Hello all. The reason I feel that I can be an administrator of Wikipedia is that I am very keen in doing something. I have a strong work ethic. With my free time I really like to help out this cause that I believe in. Even though I have been with wikipedia for a short time, I have learned a lot on the operations and what "any person" has to do to protect the site from arguments and disputes. Most of the work I have contributed to are minor edits, but those minor edits make the difference to keep an article content pure and correct. If anything else, I watch my "Watchlist" like a hawk and I could really help out on the backlog and other administrator duties that are not pertained to direct vandalism. --^BuGs^ 05:34, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here: Yes, I accept this nomination for the adminship spot.

Support

  1. Support. "The needs of the many, out-weigh the needs of the few", I think this is really true in Wikipedia. The fight for ones self opinion to be forced on to someone else is a hard one here.

Oppose

  1. Oppose. Administrators need much more experience, typically at least a couple thousand edits. I suggest you withdraw your request and become involved in the community for a few months before seeking adminship. --TantalumTelluride 06:26, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Oppose. I second that and I too suggest that you withdraw get more experience.--Dakota ~ ε 06:31, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

  • Hi Bugsy! Just been through this and you're gonna get hammered! Sorry, but I know these folks!! Tough on anybody who hasn't turned at least a 1000 edits through the mill. Suggest you either withdraw immediately before the "Oppose" list starts filling up, or add a comment saying "OK, realise I made a mistake, but I'd still like to hear what you're suggestions are to bring me up to Admin skill level" Brusselsshrek 06:27, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Edit summary usage: 4% for major edits and 7% for minor edits. Based on the last 11 major and and 15 minor edits outside the Wikipedia, User, Image, and all Talk namespaces. Mathbot 06:00, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
A. An admin of wikipedia always follows the rules on the page to the judgement set forth by the policies. For example, I would not mind helping out on the sections of protecting pages, deletions, and making sure annoymous users are not making Wikipedia look like a fool.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. I keep a closefull eye on Batman Begins and Batman and keeping this articles clean and to the point of their golden state. (Being my favorite charecter, I treasure these articles as if I wrote them myself.)
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A. I have not any conflicts with any other users, so I have not endurred any stress in doing so. Stress for me is just solving the problem calmly, and when I need to decompress, I go play a game that is decompressing.
