This is a known term in genetics and comes from a very reliable medical textbook, as cited in the article. Just because the article is short does not mean that the information is not relevant and worthy of being on wikipedia. I don't think it should be merged into the heterogeneity article, but there exists a seperate article on Allelic heterogeneity that is just a stub and it does not seem as though both articles are necessary. Just a thought!! 92.8.248.8 (talk) 11:58, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
