Romneya coulteri (Coulter's Matilija poppy; syn. Romneya trichocalyx Eastw.) is an ornamental plant in the Papaveraceae family.

R. coulteri is native to California and parts of Mexico. It is used by the Chumash people to treat skin and gum disease, as well as gastrointestinal pain. [1]
