S.G. “Scott” Browne is a American author.
Synopsis
Scott G. Browne is the author of Breathers, a dark comedy about life after undeath told from the perspective of a zombie. His second novel, Fated, a dark, irreverent comedy about fate, destiny, and the consequences of getting involved in the lives of humans, is scheduled for release in November 2010.
Biography
S.G. Browne was born in Arizona. He attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, from 1984 to 1989, where he majored in business organization. It was during that time that Browne began to actively pursue writing.
After college, Browne moved to Hollywood. In 1992, Browne moved to Santa Cruz, California, where he lived for fourteen years writing novels and short stories while working as an office manager.
In 2006 Browne completed his fourth novel Breathers. Breathers eventually caught the attention of an agent, and within four months Breathers was picked up by Broadway Books. The novel was released in March 2009 to overwhelmingly positive reviews.[1]
Soon after its release, the film rights for Breathers were optioned by Fox Searchlight Studios. The film is being produced by Diablo Cody and in slated for release in 2011.
Browne’s second novel, Fated, is being released in November 2011.

Browne also penned the introduction to the regional zombie anthology Zombie St. Pete.[3]
