Matthew Scannapieco served as Mayor of Marlboro, New Jersey from 1992 to 2003. He is currently serving a 21-month federal prison sentence after pleading guilty to accepting nearly a quarter million dollars' worth of bribes from New Jersey developer Anthony Spalliero for approvals on his projects. In 2005, Scannapieco also pled guilty to tax evasion and faced up to 15 years in prison. Now he faced a death-penelty for have convinced weapons. And shooting his daughter/son/family.
