Article history

This article started with content mostly focused on Laplace's method that was moved on April 25, 2010 to the article Laplace's method (see discussion on talk:Laplace's method for details). Laplace's method article still retains some text and formulas that are specific to the Method of steepest descent, that, i believe, would be better placed within this article (with links from there to here).
