Mini Viva

Mini Viva are a British pop duo formed in 2008 by UK pop songwriting production house Xenomania, managed by Simon Fuller and signed to the newly reformed Geffen Records UK. The band consists of Francesca Rose Connolly and Britt Love. The group are due to release their debut album in August 2010. The duo group toured with rival girl-group, The Saturdays, They toured on Clubland Live #3 and they are currently touring with Britain's Got Talent winners Diversity.

Music career

The band released their debut single, "Left My Heart in Tokyo" on 6 September 2009. "Left My Heart in Tokyo" was produced by UK pop songwriting production house Xenomania, who have previously worked with Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Cher, Gabriella Cilmi and Kylie Minogue. The Guardian featured Mini Viva as "New Band of the Day" on 17 July 2009,[1] and music magazine NME called their debut single "The Catchiest Single of 2009."[2]

Mini Viva supported The Saturdays on their The Work Tour in 2009.[3] On the 13th December, On BBC Radio 1's Chart Show with Scott Mills, they revealed they are inspired by Rihanna and Lady Gaga and had bought their latest albums, Rated R and The Fame Monster. Mini Viva released the single "I Wish" in December 2009. The song entered the UK Singles Chart at a disappointing number 73 and stayed in the Top 100 for just one week.

The girls revealed on February 9, 2010 that their third single will be "One Touch" [4] to be released May 10th, 2010.[5] The girls have also announced that they are to release their debut studio album in late 2010.[6][7]

They are currently supporting dance troupe Diversity on their UK tour. Mini Viva are due to release a third single, One Touch.
