Unblock request

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I cannot understand why I am blocked. I recieved this message: CheckUser evidence has determined that this IP address (or network) has been used abusively. This address (or network) has been blocked temporarily or permanently to prevent further abuse. Yet no CheckUser has taken place on my account or IP. I notice the blocking admin also closed the VTomi SPI. Is this an accident or is there a reason as I am sure I have done nothing wrong. CHRONOSome 15:41, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Let us see if the blocking admin will help. As this is a checkuser block an ordinary admin is not going to release it. While you are waiting, would you care to explain how, after only three days of editing on this account, you have achieved such a detailed understanding of wikipedia, especially as regards the acquisition of evidence of sockpuppetry? --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 16:22, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I'll drop a note for the blocking admin. TNXMan 15:48, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Response to Anthony.bradbury

Making an SPI isn't hard. Also creating a page about the IW engine is easy. I knew how to do this after reading some things on Wikipedia pages. I had come across one of VTomi's socks when looking at WP:Changing usernames/Simple. I felt something wasn't right with the original name so I had a look and I somehow found an IP block on the user talk page due to VTomi's vandalism and that an account of the original name was recreated. So I reported it as a duck. CHRONOSome 16:32, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
