New Rubin Kazan Stadium is a description of a new stadium in Kazan, Russia that is currently under construction. Once completed in 2012 it will host football matches and will host the home matches of FC Rubin Kazan of the Russian Premier League. It will also host the opening and closing ceremonies as well as the football competition for the 2013 Summer Universiade. The stadium will have a capacity of 45,000 spectators [1]. It will replace Central Stadium as the main stadium in Kazan.
