Dutchtown High School was built in 2002 in an unincorporated area of Ascension. It is within the Ascension Parish School Board. Both Dutchtown Middle School and Prairieville Middle School feed into Dutchtown High. The school colors are purple, silver, and black. The mascot is the griffin. The current principal is David Alexander. The official school newspaper is The Voyager. The architecture is based on that of the old Dutchtown High which was situated where the current Dutchtown Middle School is, albeit much bigger. The school's major rivals are East Ascension High School and St. Amant High School.
