The Notorious IBE
International Breakdance Event commonly reffered to as IBE or The Notorious IBE is an annual international breakdancing series that began in 1998. It is held in Heerlen, Netherlands. It is widely known. It has some special types of competitions such as "All vs. All" where all bboys from a same country form a crew for this event and battle another country (i.e. USA vs. Europe). There are also special "Longest Powermove Battles" where there is a specific powermove selected and all the contestants start at the same time and the last contestant still doing the move wins. Media
An official DVD documenting the event is usually released a few months after the tournament. Similiar as Battle of the Year this is a bestseller on on breakdance and hip-hop media retail web sites. As the music is mixed live by a DJ, there is no official soundtrack existing (as of now).
